Are Big Fans of the Hamburger Water Tower!

Our Mission Statement:

“To paint the water tower on the NYS Thruway nearest the Hamburg exit (57) to resemble a hamburger for the purpose of economic development through tourism.”

If we paint it, they will come!

In the fall 2015, the Travel Channel came to Western New York. They featured Hamburg restaurants on its Foodtown special. As reported in the Hamburg Sun“the  crew wondered why the water tower in town is not painted like a hamburger! Why the doesn’t the town  use that as a branding point.“

Millions of people pass by the town of Hamburg water tower. It stands prominently on the side of the New York State Thruway near exit 57, Hamburg NY Route 75.  From the response so far, many of us see this water tower begging to be painted like a hamburger!

So let’s do it!
